About Me
- Name: noncommon
- Location: midwest
I like the obscure and odd. I celebrate those who see things from a different perspective. The older I get the more I embrace the free-thinkers and the weird; my goal is to become more like them. I have three totally bad-ass kids. I have a husband who I cherish even though he moves at a snails pace. I am immensely grateful for the good juju that has been a constant in my life. I am a militant recycle-er, I love the art of placement (which makes so much sense knowing my interests and life's work), and I find random bits of happiness in the subtle every day. I hope to be a voracious old woman who everyone knows they can come to in times of need or for a joyous jolt to their soul - I'm working on that. This is my blog.

I've been telling this to everyone I know...some programmer had a good time with this one.
I thought it was going to be me and my "exercise" resolution.
I seriously worry about the intellect of those diehards who, in light of "W"'s disastrous effect on this nation, treat his low approval rating as a badge of honor. Just like when you were praised as an adolescent for "not following the crowd" and thinking for yourself, "W" is getting kudos from his last few fans for "sticking with a plan...even when it's not popular". Has anyone told these idiots that there's a very big difference between trying to be popular and listening to common sense? Even many of his supporters are backing away and yet those that stick around seem not to be curious about what's going on. If the Democrats had a "news" show like FOX NEWS to tell them what to think, I wonder what it would sound like.
